iPrep Academy is Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ only Pre-K3 through 12th Grade International Education and Global Focus Magnet School, located at 1500 Biscayne Blvd., Miami, FL 33132.

The iPrep Enrichment Fund (iEF) was created to help ensure our students have access to the people, programs, and opportunities that make iPrep exceptional.

Due to current district budget constraints, part-time positions are temporarily on hold. The iEF allows our community to help sustain critical positions—including K–4 paraprofessionals and our school librarian—while also supporting specialized enrichment programs such as after-school clubs.

Every donation is dedicated to approved instructional support and enrichment at iPrep, with expenditures overseen by the iPrep Enrichment Fund Board.

What is the iPrep Enrichment Fund?

What does the Enrichment Fund support?

The Fund supports instructional support personnel who help reduce student-to-teacher ratios, as well as specialized enrichment opportunities such as after-school clubs.

Currently, the Fund supports paraprofessionals serving Kindergarten through 4th Grade and the iPrep school librarian.

Why are these positions important?

Additional instructional support gives teachers more capacity to meet individual student needs and provides students with more support in the classroom. Our librarian and enrichment programs also provide valuable opportunities that extend learning beyond the traditional classroom experience.

How much does it cost to fund a position?

Each funded position costs approximately $25,000–$30,000 per year. The Enrichment Fund works to raise the resources necessary to sustain these positions and support additional opportunities for students.

What happens if the Fund doesn't raise enough money?

If fundraising falls short, the Fund may not be able to support all of the positions and programs identified as priorities. Every dollar raised helps us provide more of the support our students need.

Where does my donation go?

Donations are held in a dedicated bank account for the iPrep Enrichment Fund and are used exclusively for approved instructional support positions and enrichment programs at iPrep Academy.

Who decides how the money is spent?

The iPrep Enrichment Fund Board oversees the Fund and approves expenditures to ensure that contributions are used for their intended purpose.

Can my donation be used for other school expenses?

No. Enrichment Fund dollars are restricted to funding approved instructional support positions and specialized enrichment programs.

Is the Enrichment Fund part of the PTSA?

No. The iPrep Enrichment Fund is a separate initiative with its own dedicated funds and governing Board, focused specifically on supporting instructional personnel and enrichment opportunities.
